London Eye

In the past month, I have toured London's iconic locations twice because I have had two friends visit me from abroad. Although I do get tired of seeing the same museums, galleries and buildings over and over again, (give me a few months before I have to go back), My favourite is the London Eye.

Looking at it from afar, it is just a giant ferris wheel so it doesn't look as exciting! I have always walked past it since it opened in 2000 and it was only in 2011 that I decided to pay the exorbitant price and experience what all the hype was about. (I also had to because my American friend was visiting with her sister). Ever since then, I have been hooked! It is especially amazing at night time, even better if you manage to go on just as the sun is setting. If you ever get a chance to be in London, you should definitely go on the Eye!
